Olympic 500m speed skating champion Lee Sang-hwa has yet to be beaten over her favourite distance so far this season in the ISU World Cup. The korean has also managed to beat her own World Record on several occasions, most recently in november, suggesting she can scale new heights in Sochi.

When she outstripped the German Jenny Wolf by 5/100 of a second over 500m at Vancouver 2010, Lee Sang-Hwa became the first Korean to win Olympic gold in long track speed skating.
